1 Introduction and Purpose

This Cookie Policy and Consent Management Notice (the "Policy") explains how PAYSOLO LLC ("Paysolo", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on paysolo.io and any Paysolo application or client portal that links to this Policy (the "Platforms"). It explains the information involved, the purposes and duration of use, third-party access, and your choices.

PAYSOLO LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company, Wyoming Filing ID 2024-001534476. Its principal office and mailing address is 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #19254, Casper, WY 82609, United States.

Paysolo operates a software and introductory platform. It does not receive, hold, safeguard or control client fiat currency, crypto-assets or private keys. Underlying financial services are provided separately by third-party providers under their own terms. This platform model does not remove Paysolo's responsibilities for personal information it processes.

Read this Policy with the Paysolo Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Accepting the Terms, registering an account or using a third-party financial service does not constitute consent to optional cookies or advertising.

2 Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to visitors, prospective and registered users, business representatives and beneficial owners who access the Platforms, across supported browsers and devices. Privacy rights can apply to website visitors even where the underlying financial services are unavailable to them.

It covers technologies deployed by Paysolo and technologies deployed by third parties within the Platforms. A separate website reached through a link has its own cookie and privacy notices. Paysolo remains responsible for its own involvement in selecting, embedding or enabling third-party technologies.

The applicable law depends on the individual, location, processing activity and statutory scope. The GDPR and California provisions below apply where the relevant law covers the processing. Mandatory privacy rights are not displaced by the Wyoming governing-law clause in the Terms of Service.

3 Legal Framework

Paysolo handles cookies and associated personal information under applicable privacy and electronic communications laws, including:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), including its requirements for lawful processing, transparency, consent, individual rights, security and international transfers, where applicable.
  • Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive) and applicable national implementing laws governing storage of, or access to, information on a user's device.
  • The California Consumer Privacy Act, California Civil Code sections 1798.100 et seq., as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the CCPA), and applicable implementing regulations, where Paysolo and the processing fall within their scope.
  • The California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), California Business and Professions Code sections 22575 et seq., where applicable, including disclosures about tracking and browser signals.
  • Other applicable privacy laws and relevant guidance of competent authorities, including European Data Protection Board guidance on valid consent.

A device-access exemption and a lawful basis for processing personal data are separate questions. A commercial, security or compliance purpose does not by itself make a cookie exempt from consent. Section 7 explains this distinction.

4 What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small pieces of information saved by a website in a browser. They can maintain a session, remember a choice or associate activity with an identifier. Similar technologies include local and session storage, pixels, web beacons, device identifiers, device fingerprinting, tracking through HTTP headers and application software development kits.

In this Policy, "cookies" includes those similar technologies where relevant. Technologies can be first-party or supplied by an external provider. First-party storage can still involve disclosure to a third party; classification depends on the actual data flows and purposes.

Session cookies normally last for a browser session, although browser restoration can preserve them. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiry or earlier deletion. Local storage generally remains until deleted by the application or user. Section 6 describes the intended periods for the listed technologies.

Depending on the technology, information can include a cookie or device identifier, IP address, browser and device characteristics, language, approximate location inferred from an IP address, pages visited, referral information, timestamps, interaction events and consent choices. Information remains personal data where it can reasonably be linked to a person or device; a pseudonymous identifier is not automatically anonymous.

5 Categories of Cookies Used by Paysolo

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These support a service you request or the transmission of communications, where the applicable legal exemption is met. Examples include secure login, session continuity, protection against cross-site request forgery, load balancing and storage of your privacy choices. Essential security or onboarding functionality is assessed against that test rather than classified as necessary merely because it relates to KYC, fraud prevention or compliance.

Strictly necessary cookies are not subject to the optional-cookie switches in the consent panel. You can block them in your browser, but this may prevent login or another requested function from working.

Functional Cookies

These remember optional preferences, such as language, region or display settings. Under this Policy they are disabled until you consent, unless a particular technology meets the strict exemption for a function you expressly request.

Analytics Cookies

These measure website use and performance, such as visits, navigation, session activity and technical errors. Optional analytics technologies are enabled only after your consent. Any separate security or operational logging must have its own lawful basis and must not be used to bypass your analytics choice.

Marketing Cookies

These support advertising measurement, conversion reporting, retargeting and, where enabled and disclosed, advertising based on activity across services. They are optional and require your consent under this Policy. California sale or sharing opt-outs also apply where required, as explained in Sections 11 and 14.

6 Inventory of Cookies Used

The following inventory identifies the technologies covered by this Policy. Use depends on the page, requested function and your choices. Optional entries apply only where the corresponding tool is enabled and the required consent has been given.

Inventory and Retention Details

The consent panel identifies the active technologies, relevant providers, purposes and expiry periods for the deployment you are using. A new non-essential tool must be disclosed and covered by the required consent before activation. Paysolo reviews the inventory at least every six months and when providers or technologies change.

Google Analytics browser-cookie expiry is distinct from retention of analytics data on Google's systems. A 14-month analytics-data retention setting does not establish a cookie's expiry. The configured browser-cookie duration and applicable analytics-data retention must be disclosed separately.

A cookie's expiry does not necessarily delete information already collected through it. We retain that information only for the disclosed purpose and period, or for a lawful retention need described in the Privacy Policy. Records needed to demonstrate consent or maintain an opt-out can be kept separately for that limited purpose. Expiry of a preference cookie does not cancel a California opt-out that we remain legally required to honor.

7 Legal Basis for Processing

Where Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and its implementing law apply, prior consent is required before storing or accessing information on your device, unless the operation is solely for transmission of a communication or strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly request. This rule can apply even where the information is not personal data.

Where the GDPR also applies, we separately identify a lawful basis for processing the resulting personal data. Depending on the actual activity, necessary processing may rely on Article 6(1)(b) to perform a contract or take requested pre-contractual steps, or Article 6(1)(f) for a justified and balanced legitimate interest, such as appropriate platform security. Article 6(1)(c) is used only where an applicable obligation satisfying GDPR requirements actually requires the processing.

Optional functional, analytics and marketing processing relies on consent under Article 6(1)(a), where the GDPR applies. A legitimate interest, a third party's compliance obligation or a label such as "security" cannot replace consent required for device access.

California sale and sharing rules are assessed separately. Enabling an optional cookie does not waive a statutory opt-out or authorize an undisclosed purpose. Processing must also respect purpose limitation, data minimization and retention limits under applicable law.

8 Consent Management Platform

The consent management platform (CMP) provides the controls for choosing optional cookie categories. It offers the following choices and protections:

  • Optional functional, analytics and marketing technologies remain disabled by default and are activated only after the required affirmative choice.
  • The initial panel provides clear Accept all, Reject non-essential and Customize choices, with equally accessible acceptance and refusal and no preselected optional categories.
  • Choices are separate by purpose and can be changed through the Cookie Settings control without creating an account.
  • Closing the panel, scrolling, continuing to browse or accepting the Terms does not give consent.
  • The choice, timestamp, relevant notice version and a limited consent identifier are recorded where necessary to demonstrate and honor your instructions.
  • Your refusal applies to optional tracking through pixels, fingerprinting, server-side events and cookieless requests as well as browser cookies.
  • Recognized opt-out preference signals are processed as described in Section 14. A general acceptance button does not override a valid opt-out signal.

Preferences are ordinarily remembered for up to 12 months, subject to shorter periods required by applicable rules. We seek new consent when the original choice no longer covers a material change in purpose, provider or processing. We do not use recurring prompts to undermine a refusal. Where the CCPA applies, we do not ask you to consent again to sale or sharing for at least 12 months after an opt-out, except where law permits.

9 Withdrawing or Changing Consent

Use Cookie Settings to withdraw consent or change an optional category at any time. Withdrawal must be as easy as giving consent. You can also contact compliance@paysolo.io for assistance, but an email request is not a substitute for an accessible on-screen withdrawal control.

On withdrawal, the affected optional technologies are disabled and further processing based solely on that consent stops. We remove or expire the cookies under our control where technically possible and communicate the choice to affected providers as required. You may also need to delete existing third-party cookies through your browser or the provider's controls.

Withdrawal does not invalidate processing that was lawful before withdrawal. It does not prevent processing supported by a separate lawful basis, such as keeping a limited record of your choice or honoring a legal retention duty. A separate basis cannot be used to continue the same optional tracking after refusal.

Rejecting optional cookies does not by itself prevent access to core platform functions. A particular optional feature may be unavailable if it depends on a technology you decline. Choices may need to be applied on each browser or device; known account-level opt-outs are also honored where legally required.

10 Third Parties and International Transfers

Technology providers can process information for Paysolo as processors or service providers, or for their own disclosed purposes as independent or joint controllers. Their legal role depends on the actual arrangement. The inventory and consent panel identify relevant analytics and advertising providers. Their separate privacy notices explain their own processing.

If enabled with the required consent, Google Analytics can receive usage and device information, and Meta advertising tools can receive identifiers, browsing events and conversion information. Advertising providers may combine that information with information from other websites or services. Paysolo must not send passwords, private keys, identity-document contents or detailed financial transaction information through optional analytics or advertising tags.

The provider of an underlying financial or identity-verification service may present its own notices and necessary service controls. Paysolo's website-cookie consent does not replace consent or another lawful basis required for that provider's processing, nor does a provider's notice remove Paysolo's own obligations.

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries disclosed for the relevant provider. Where the GDPR applies to a restricted transfer outside the EEA, we use a lawful Chapter V mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses, with an assessment and supplementary protections where needed. An adequacy mechanism is used only for recipients and processing actually covered by it. Cookie consent alone is not a general transfer safeguard.

Contact compliance@paysolo.io for information about relevant recipients and transfer safeguards, including how to obtain a copy subject to lawful redactions.

11 Data Subject Rights

GDPR Rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and, where its conditions are met, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing, including related profiling. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Article 22 provides protections against decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects, subject to the conditions and exceptions in that Article. The presence of a cookie does not by itself mean such a decision takes place.

Send requests to compliance@paysolo.io. We respond without undue delay and normally within one month. Where permitted because of complexity or the number of requests, we may extend by up to two further months and explain the extension within the first month. We request only information reasonably necessary to confirm identity. You may complain to a competent supervisory authority, including in your habitual residence, workplace or the place of an alleged infringement.

California Privacy Rights

Where the CCPA applies, California residents may request to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, purposes and recipient categories, and information about sales, sharing and disclosures. They may request correction or deletion, subject to legal exceptions, and a portable copy where required.

You may opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, including disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising identifiers and browsing or conversion events sent to advertising providers can fall within those definitions even if no money is exchanged. The marketing-cookie choice does not imply that all provider disclosures are exempt.

Use Cookie Settings to reject optional marketing technologies and exercise a sale or sharing opt-out. A Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control is provided where required. You can also send a request to compliance@paysolo.io or use a recognized Global Privacy Control signal. You do not need an account or a verified identity request to opt out. We act as soon as feasibly possible and, where the CCPA applies, no later than 15 business days after receipt, with any required downstream instructions.

You may limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information where the statutory right applies. We do not authorize optional cookies to collect identity documents, account credentials or precise geolocation for advertising. Any sensitive information needed for a separate requested service is addressed in the relevant privacy notice.

We acknowledge requests to know, correct or delete within 10 business days and normally respond within 45 calendar days, subject to verification and applicable exceptions. A further 45 days may be used where permitted, with notice and reasons. An authorized agent may submit a request subject to appropriate proof of authority; ordinary opt-outs and recognized preference signals must not be burdened by unnecessary identity checks.

We do not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate because you exercise privacy rights. You may complain to the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General. This cookie notice supplements the Privacy Policy and relevant notice at collection; it does not replace the disclosures required for other processing.

12 Children

The Platforms are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly target children with advertising or knowingly collect children's personal information through optional tracking. If we learn of information collected without a lawful basis, we take appropriate steps to stop the processing and delete the information, subject to applicable law.

Where the CCPA applies, we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16 without the authorization required by law. This does not change the Platform's adult-only eligibility rule. Contact compliance@paysolo.io if you believe a child's information has been collected.

13 Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risks of cookie-related processing. Relevant controls include secure transmission, restricted access to identifiers and consent records, appropriate Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite attributes for cookies that support them, and separation of authentication information from optional tracking.

We review third-party tags and changes to them for purpose, access, consent behavior and unintended collection. Security controls and periodic reviews address tracking that loads before consent or continues after refusal. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Report suspected exposure of an account or session to support@paysolo.io. Do not send passwords, full authentication codes, private keys or seed phrases with a cookie or privacy enquiry.

14 Browser Level Controls

Your browser can block or delete cookies and clear site data. See the browser's current privacy settings or help pages. Blocking essential storage can affect login and requested functions. Clearing site data can remove a local preference record; it does not create consent to optional tracking.

Global Privacy Control

Where applicable law requires, we recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other legally valid opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of sale or sharing. We apply a signal to the browser or device and, where the user is known and the law requires, to the associated account and relevant offline processing. The control must display that the opt-out has been processed.

A prior acceptance of optional cookies does not override a valid later signal. Absence of a signal on a subsequent visit is not permission to reverse an existing opt-out. A signal can disable sale or sharing without expressing a choice about every non-essential category; you can separately reject all optional categories in Cookie Settings.

Do Not Track Disclosure

The legacy browser Do Not Track (DNT) signal is different from GPC. Our cookie controls do not use DNT alone as an automatic change to your preferences. Use Cookie Settings or a recognized GPC signal to communicate the choices described here. This does not limit any response required by applicable law.

Where you permit relevant tracking, third parties identified in the consent panel may collect information about activity over time and across different websites or online services. You can withdraw the relevant consent and exercise applicable opt-outs through the controls described above.

15 Updates to the Policy

We update this Policy when practices, technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is published at paysolo.io/cookies with its revision date and version number. Material changes are brought to your attention through an appropriate notice.

If a change requires fresh consent, we obtain it before the affected optional processing begins. Publication, continued browsing or continued account use does not by itself provide that consent. Changes do not retrospectively authorize processing or cancel an existing privacy choice.
